Bellagio Fountains
The Bellagio Fountains are one of the most popular free attractions in Las Vegas. It is a distinguishing attraction of the Bellagio Hotel and is a light and sound show, coupled with a quite phenomenal fountain display. The Bellagio Fountains are situated on an eight acre lake, located in front of the hotel and are reputed to be one of the most complex and impressive water features that have ever been designed. Conservatory at Bellagio
The Conservatory at Bellagio features elegant, elaborate arrangements of plants and flowers in its bright, airy atrium. The Bellagio Conservatory and Botanical Gardens changes the theme of its displays five times a year, closing to the public for a week, whilst about 100 people from both the Bellagio's horticulture and engineering departments work round the clock to execute the seasonal plans, making use of cranes and a tunnel system underneath the conservatory. This free exhibit has a range of themes for its horticultural displays including Chinese New Year, Spring Celebration, Summer Garden Party, Harvest and Holiday and are on display 24 hours a day. Flowers and plants for the conservatory are shipped in from all over the nation and are temporarily kept off-site in an enormous greenhouse until ready for display. Even though the selected flowers and plants thrive in the Conservatory's ideal climate, they are replaced and refreshed every two weeks - and many are hand-watered, a daunting task in this enormous and magnificent atrium

Mandalay Bay Shark Reef
The Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay is home to some of the marine world's most fascinating creatures in North America's only predator-based aquarium and exhibit. View a variety of sharks, along with sawfish, giant rays, endangered green sea turtles, piranha, moon jellies and the rare golden crocodiles. In total, there are over 2,000 animals in this exhibit containing an impressive 1.6 million gallons of seawater. Education and conservation is very important at this attraction, a water-recycling facility and the implementation of imitation coral just two of the ways in which they are setting a good example in terms of protecting our planet's natural resources.

Siegfried & Roy's Secret Garden & Dolphin Habitat
Located at the Mirage, experience an exotic, enchanting and wondrous world at Siegfried & Roy's Secret Garden & Dolphin Habitat featuring white lions, white tigers, panthers, leopards, and a family of Atlantic bottlenose dolphins. Also, you can take part in the Trainer for a Day Programme where you can go from tourist to trainer in just a few hours before you help train the dolphins for a day at the Mirage.

The Mirage Volcano

Located at the Imperial Palace and home to one of the world's largest and finest collections of classic, muscle and special-interest cars, the Auto Collections Museum at the Imperial Palace is a must-see attraction for car enthusiasts. The King's Ransom Museum
Also located in the Imperial Palace royal halls is the King's Ransom Museum, a one-of-a-kind exhibition of priceless Elvis Presley artefacts and memorabilia. Atomic Testing Museum
In the 1950s, the primary nuclear test-site in the US was just outside Las Vegas and visitors would travel to the downtown area to view the mushroom clouds that would rise from the Nevada Test Site. The site was the premier nuclear testing facility in the U.S. and started operations in 1951 until its closure in 1992. Located not far from the Strip, the Atomic Testing Museum traces the history of the facility and the atomic age, both good and bad in an entertaining, and emotional manner. The exhibit also touches on the Cold War and includes a fragment of the Berlin Wall. The museum can be found at the Frank H. Rogers Science and Technology building, just a mile off the Las Vegas Strip and is well worth a visit.

The World's Largest Golden Nugget
In Downtown Las Vegas, you can view the largest golden nugget in the world at the Golden Nugget Hotel Casino. In the spring of 1980, an Australian named Kevin Hillier took his new metal detector out near his tiny hometown of Wedderburn in Australia. Before the day was out he'd unearthed a golden nugget weighing 27kg, barely a foot underground. The 'Hand of Faith' as it has been named is the biggest golden nugget in existence, the second-biggest ever discovered and was sold by its finder to the Golden Nugget for over a million dollars where it is on view to the public 24 hours a day.
