Four Queens Hotel & Casino
The Four Queens Hotel is located in downtown Las Vegas which lies a couple of miles north of the Las Vegas Strip. This part of the city is often called “Old Vegas” and is certainly a cheaper alternative than staying on the pricey Las Vegas Strip. There are many restaurants, bars, clubs and casinos in the area as well as pedestrianised Fremont Street which lies right outside the hotel's front door. Fremont Street is renowned for the incredible free light and sound show which is played nightly for the city's many visitors. The hotel can best be described as a traditional style gaming and entertainment establishment.
There are 690 rooms and suites, all of which have been recently renovated and provide comfortable accommodation with modern facilities, all at a reasonable price.
The hotel offers its own entertainment in the Canyon Club Theatre, where the performers are mainly musicians and comedians. The street in which the hotel is located, Fremont Street, is popular with tourists as it is filled with stalls selling all types of gifts and souvenirs. In the evening there are spectacular light and sound shows at the Fremont Street Experience.
Then there is the casino, of course. All of the usual table games are offered such as blackjack, roulette and craps. There is also a huge array of slot machines.
Dining
Hugo’s Cellar
Hugo’s cellar is a well-known and extremely popular Las Vegas dining venue. The cuisine is largely traditional American.
The Magnolia’s Veranda restaurant serves a wide variety of meals and drinks and is open for 24 hours a day. Light snacks and award winning beers are available from the Chicago Brewing Company.
There are two bars in the casino, both of which are open 24-hours a day.
