Imperial Palace Hotel
The Imperial Palace is a budget hotel with a 5 star location, right in the centre of the Las Vegas Strip. All the legendary attractions are nearby, but the hotel itself has plenty to offer by way of entertainment, dining and leisure facilities.
The Oriental-styled facade leads to the recently re-modelled casino where decor and furnishings continue the Asian theme. There are over 800 slot machines to choose from, as well as 55 Table games which include blackjack, craps, roulette and several types of poker. The race and sports book starts at 8am and the comfortable venue has 230 seats, each with an individual TV. Don’t be surprised if the blackjack dealers burst into song and perform an Elvis or Dolly Parton impression on the spot! Original entertainment fun has been introduced to the casino floor and the “Dealertainers” always raise a smile, even if you’re losing!
Guests can enjoy the peaceful landscaped surroundings while they sunbathe, enjoy a snack by the poolside or soak in the oversized Jacuzzi tub. The large, heated pool is open seasonally, but the Jacuzzi is available all year round. For an extra touch of luxury, cabanas and daybeds can be rented.
The tranquil, Zen-inspired spa offers various treatments as well as a eucalyptus steam room, Jacuzzi and sauna facilities. These services are especially welcome after a workout at the fitness centre, which features complimentary fruit and beverages and separate lounge areas for men and women.
The Imperial Palace provides complete Wedding Packages and the hotel’s Salon specialises in bridal make-up, nails and hairstyling.
The Auto Collections, on the first floor, is a must for car enthusiasts and boasts the world’s largest and finest display of classic, historic or special-interest cars. Over 250 models are on display and enthusiasts can buy, sell or trade, if they can afford it, since the current value of the vehicles is over 100 million dollars. Their gift shop sells auto memorabilia, books and collectibles. Other shops, also on the first floor, stock jewellery, clothing, gifts, children’s wear and fashion accessories.
The Imperial Palace provides a constant programme of entertainment within the hotel and on-site venues include the Rockhouse Bar & Nightclub, Karaoke Club and Imperial Theatre, all of which feature live performances.
Several specialty restaurants offer a wide choice of reasonably priced meals. Embers, which was voted one of the top five most romantic restaurants in Vegas, specialises in steaks, chops and seafood. Hash House A Go Go is famous for its generous portions of traditional American dishes with an original twist. The restaurant is operated by a celebrity restaurateur and has been featured in several television programmes. Other dining outlets bring tastes of the Orient, Italy and Mexico. The hotel has eight bars and lounges, some offering exotic cocktails in intimate surroundings; others are situated in the lively atmosphere of the casino, where drinks can be enjoyed over a game of poker.
