Rio All Suites Hotel & Casino
The Rio was the first hotel in Las Vegas to feature all-suite accommodation and the generous size of the rooms make it especially popular with adult stag groups and hen parties. Although the hotel is located about a mile west of the main Strip, the regular free shuttle service transports guests back and forwards in a matter of minutes.
The hotel’s distinctive towering glass facade welcomes visitors to the colourful Brazilian-themed interior with its wealth of attractions, entertainment and, of course, casinos. There is over 100,000 square feet of world-class gaming space and the Rio’s 80 table games include poker, baccarat, roulette, craps and blackjack. The casino also features 1,200 slot machines, a poker room, keno and race and sportsbook facilities.
The Voodoo Beach is set amidst pools, waterfalls and spas, where you can sunbathe, have your drinks served by bikini-clad waitresses and be entertained with music played by the resident DJ. The beach and pools are designed for adults and entry is restricted to over 21s.
When you’re ready for evening entertainment, the hotel’s recently opened, 900 seat, Crown Theater and Nightclub showcases major variety and musical performers. Penn & Teller and the Chippendales also have their own theatres within the hotel. The VooDoo Rooftop Nightclub, with award-winning bartenders, is located on the 51st floor and offers spectacular views of the city.
The highlight of the Masquerade Village is the Show in the Sky which features a spectacular choreographed performance by glamorous dancers on Mardi-Gras themed carnival floats which glide high above the spectators. This illuminated spectacle can be enjoyed free by the general public. Also based in the Masquerade Village are numerous boutiques, selling gifts, flowers, children’s items, artwork, food and high-quality fashion accessories, watches and jewellery.
The Rio Spa & Salon is the perfect place for pampering and relaxation. If you’re feeling more energetic, you can enjoy a workout at the Fitness Centre or take advantage of the preferential access arrangements at two top-class golf courses.
A complete wedding package is available for brides and bridegrooms-to-be. Las Vegas offers some stunning venues and an experienced wedding planner will arrange all the details, including a reception, if required.
There are over a dozen restaurants and bars within the hotel and the Rio’s award-winning cuisine has an international flavour. Choose from Indian, French Creole, traditional American, Chinese or Irish. Meals and wine-tasting events are also available at the gourmet Wine Cellar & Tasting Room, which stocks over 50,000 bottles of wine.
