Tropicana Resort & Casino
The Tropicana Resort and Casino has an enviable position in the centre of the fabled Las Vegas Strip. It is close to all of the sights and sounds that make Las Vegas one of the most sought after tourist destinations in the world.
On days when you feel that you need a break from the hustle and bustle of sightseeing, the Tropicana has many attractions of its own to offer you. This resort hotel has recently been refurbished and offers its guests a taste of the tropical holiday right in the heart of Las Vegas. The central attraction is a four acre landscaped area brimming with lush tropical vegetation and waterfalls and having a large swimming pool as its main feature. Guests can take advantage of the surroundings and the Las Vegas climate, and spend the day relaxing by the pool or in one of the hotel's private Cabanas.
Further relaxation will be available from the autumn of 2011 when the hotel opens its brand-new spa and fitness centre. The spa will offer a wide range of treatments including a beauty salon, steam showers and a retail outlet selling spa products. In addition to the spa there will be a fully-equipped fitness centre for those who wish to maintain their workout schedule whilst on holiday.
Part of the fun of being on holiday is browsing the shops looking for souvenirs and bargains to take home. The Tropicana has its own small shopping mall selling all sorts of goods.
For the bride-to-be the hotel has a special section which caters for weddings, ranging from organising the ceremony through to providing top quality catering for the reception.
Of course, no Las Vegas Strip hotel would be complete without its casino. The casino at the Tropicana has recently been renovated and offers all of the usual games, with table stakes to suit all pockets.
A recent addition to the facilities offered by the Tropicana is its Nikki Beach club. This offers guests the opportunity to dance all day long by the pool and enjoy live entertainment from professional artists. For those who would like a more private setting, there are luxurious cabanas available to hire.
Dining
When you need to replenish your energy levels, there is a choice of four places to eat and drink at the Tropicana. The Biscayne offers prime steaks and sea food prepared with ingredients that inject a taste of the tropics. If you prefer Italian cuisine, then Bacio provides an authentic Italian trattoria experience.
For less formal and simpler fare, the Cafe Nikki and the South Beach Marketplace both have a wide choice of meals and drinks.

The Tropicana has over 1,800 rooms that have been newly decorated to echo the style of an old tropical plantation house. The furnishings are casual and the windows fitted with white shutters rather than curtains. All of the rooms have the following amenities in common:

- Views of the Las Vegas Strip or the hotel gardens
- Original artwork in each room

Paradise Suites
The Paradise suites have a view which overlooks the Las Vegas Strip, enhanced by their corner location, and they have a separate bedroom and living room area. They also feature a king size bed. These suites have the same amenities as the guest rooms with the addition of the following:
- Laptop sized in-room safe
- Powder Room
- Refrigerator
