Westin Casuarina Hotel
The Westin Casuarina Hotel enjoys a fabulous location just a couple of hundred yards away from the famous Las Vegas Strip. Close enough so that all of the action and amenities of the Strip are within walking distance, but far enough away so as to be in a relatively quiet part of town. You visit Las Vegas to enjoy all that the city has to offer of course, and the hotel’s proximity to the many nearby attractions will allow you to do that easily. However, the Westin has so much to offer within its own area that there might be days when you decide not to leave the hotel at all.
For instance, the wonderful climate of the Las Vegas area will no doubt tempt you to spend some time in the outdoor heated swimming pool. As well as swimming you can enjoy lounging by the poolside or in a private Cabana. The hotel also has its own spa facilities where you can take advantage a wide range of spa treatments. If you feel a little more energetic the Western has a fully-equipped fitness centre where you can work off some of your excess energy.
Of course, no visit to Las Vegas would be complete without spending some time, (and money!), trying your luck in the casino. The Casuarina Casino is open 24 hours every day and has a happy hour from Monday to Thursday when you can enjoy a low stakes at the roulette, craps and blackjack tables. There is also a huge range of the latest slots on offer.
For a change from gambling or looking at the sights the hotel has its own 2000 seat theatre which has a constantly changing programme.
The hotel encourages its guests to get to know each other by providing snacks and drinks for one hour each evening. This is an ideal opportunity to make new friends and find out more about the locality.
Dining
No matter what hour of the day or night, if you feel a little peckish, you will be able to satisfy your hunger at any one of three venues at the Westin Hotel. For light snacks and drinks there is the Starbucks Cafe and the Casino Lounge. For more formal dining you should make for the Suede Restaurant. The latter also provides a 24-hour in-room dining service.
