Beekman Tower
The Beekman Tower Hotel is a boutique hotel situated in a quiet area close to the United Nations complex. It is housed in a beautiful 1928 Art Deco building and has a range of suites to suit all tastes and requirements. The public areas and rooms are furnished with elegant style in a decor that is muted and restful.
This part of Manhattan’s Middle East Side is conveniently far away from the hustle and bustle of the midtown attractions but it has good subway links to the Times Square area and Central Park. Indeed, the delights of Fifth Avenue shopping and Central Park are within walking distance, being just over half a mile away. As well as the nearby United Nations plaza, the area also has several embassies located here. The increased security that this entails makes this one of the safest locations of Manhattan.
If you want to maintain your fitness schedule whilst on holiday, the hotel has a 24 hour fitness centre. It’s found on the second floor and also has a sauna area.
Dining
Top of the Tower
This restaurant is on the 26th penthouse floor of the Beekman Towers and offers guests superb views as they eat. Particularly impressive are the views of the 59th Street Bridge, a historic structure made famous in Simon and Garfunkel’s 1967 hit, “Feelin' Groovy”.
The menu is classic American and the restaurant is open for breakfast and dinner. The bar opens for cocktails at 5 pm.

This suite has a separate living room and bedroom. The living space has both a dining and a work area. There is a TV with cable channels in the bedroom and the living area.
