GEM Hotel Chelsea

The GEM Hotel enjoys a convenient location in Chelsea, midway between the tourist attractions of Manhattan’s midtown and the downtown financial district. Chelsea itself is not without its appeal as a holiday base. The area has many residential streets and is fast becoming known for its numerous high-quality art galleries and dazzling nightclubs which have taken over the empty warehouses and bring the area to life in the evenings.
Within easy walking distance of the hotel is the famous Chelsea Piers sports and entertainment complex where visitors can try their hand at ice skating and other activities in an area where the world’s great passenger liners used to dock. For visiting other parts of the Borough there is a subway station just a block away from the hotel.
The GEM Hotel’s 81 rooms all have complimentary internet access and there is a well-equipped fitness centre with cardio machines and TVs to keep you up-to-date with the news whilst you are working out.
There are no on-site dining facilities in the hotel but the Chelsea area has a wealth of fine eating places covering all price brackets.
