Park Central Hotel
The Park Central is a large, 935 room hotel which has an enviable location just a few hundred yards south of Central Park. Broadway is even closer and the major plays and musicals are minutes from the hotel’s entrance.
It would be difficult to find a hotel that is more convenient than this one for visiting all that midtown Manhattan has to offer. You could be browsing the boutiques of Fifth Avenue, ambling around the exhibits at the Museum of Modern Art or making your way to the “Top of the Rock” at the Rockefeller Center, all within a short time of setting out from the Park Central’s lobby.
There’s no need to miss out on your fitness training when you’re staying away from home as the Park Central has its own health club. It has the usual range of treadmills and stationary bikes and also a selection of free weights. It is free of charge for guests of the hotel.
Dining
City House
This is the main restaurant at the Park Central and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Its cuisine is modern American with a daily special from the fish menu. The City House is on the ground floor and has floor to ceiling windows to give a feeling of eating at a pavement cafe.
Bar Bella
The Bar Bella is the hotel’s Lobby Lounge and serves a range of light snacks and cocktails.
