Skyline Hotel
The Skyline Hotel is situated in an area known as Clinton but which was formerly called Hell’s Kitchen. This part of Manhattan was the scene of unrest between different factions for many years, (the film West Side Story was shot here in the 1960s), but it has left those days far behind. The area is now a quiet, favoured place to live and it is conveniently close to Times Square and Central Park. There are many more of New York’s most interesting attractions practically on the doorstep of the Skyline. For example, the Intrepid Air and Space Museum tells a fascinating story of the history of the great aircraft carrier through interactive displays. The fact that the ship is the museum adds extra appeal to a visit.
The Skyline has recently renovated its 232 guest rooms and public areas, and the hotel now offers guests a bright new face, the decor mainly consisting of natural greens and reddish browns.
For guests who feel in need of some active pursuits, there is a swimming pool on the penthouse floor which allows you to enjoy fabulous panoramic views as well as a plunge. Also on this floor is the hotel’s well-equipped fitness centre to which all guests have free access.
The restaurant serves breakfast only. A new eating area is in the course of being created and should open soon.

This is a large room which has a king size bed and a queen sofa bed in the living area. Other features include a desk and chair.
Deluxe Room - 410 square feet
These rooms have two queen size beds. They also have a desk and a chair to match.
