St. Regis
The St. Regis is a five star hotel located in midtown Manhattan Located in the heart of midtown Manhattan, just south of Central Park. Its prime location puts it within easy walking distance of many favourite attractions. As well as Central Park, the celebrated Fifth Avenue shops are close by, as is the excitement of Broadway and Times Square. Just a little further on and you can gaze at the amazing size of the Empire State Building. If you visit the observation tower of the Empire State on a clear day you can see five US states.
There are, of course, many other wonderful tourist venues in New York and you can easily reach them by taxi or subway. The nearest subway station is only two blocks away.
Not to be outdone, the St. Regis has provided plenty of things for guests to do should they choose to relax in the hotel for a while. For instance, there is the spa.
Conveniently located in the lower lobby, the spa offers a full range of treatments for both sexes. Within the spa area there is also a fully equipped gymnasium to help you work off some of those extra holiday calories.
Guests of the St. Regis also have free access to the heated indoor swimming pool at the Sheraton Manhattan hotel, a five minute walk away. If the weather is nice there is a sundeck to stretch out on in the spring and summer months.
Dining
Adour
This is the St. Regis’ signature restaurant serving gourmet fare for dinner only. The Ardour is also home to a wine bar. The menu is decidedly French haute-cuisine.
King Cole Bar
The place to go for an aperitif – reputed to be the bar where the “Bloody Mary”, known as the “Red Snapper” on this side of the Atlantic, first made an appearance in the USA.
Astor Court
An elegant and refined bistro serving Astor Court serving breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. The menu is international with much Italian and American influence. Live music is available on Wednesdays.
The hotel can also provide snacks or full meals in your room 24 hours a day.
