Thompson LES
The four star Thompson LES has a prime location in New York’s Lower East Side, hence the name. The hotel is brim full of innovatory features such as the outdoor pool which has a filmstrip of Andy Warhol photo-lithographed onto the pool floor. Guest rooms have large floor to ceiling windows and minimalistic decor featuring slick, black-mirrored walls.
As well as the outdoor pool, LES guests can enjoy the benefits of a good workout in the fully equipped fitness centre and for a more relaxing time there are no less than four lounge bars, all with their own particular ambience, waiting to offer you their comforts.
The most notable of these is the Above Allen terrace lounge; an exclusive hideaway for hotel guests and members only. It has a retractable glass roof and offers expansive views of the Manhattan skyline.
Dining at the LES Hotel takes place at the Shang Restaurant where guests can enjoy a typically Chinese cuisine created by the hotel’s chef, Susur Lee.
When you feel in the mood for some sightseeing there is plenty to see and do in the immediate vicinity. For instance, the Brooklyn Bridge is a short walk from the hotel, as is Chinatown, with its unique atmosphere and hundreds of Chinese restaurants and shops. A little further afield are Battery Park where a ferry will take you to Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty, and the South Street Seaport (Pier 17) area with its typical hustle and bustle of shops, market stalls and street performers.
A couple of subway stops or a short taxi ride brings the attractions of midtown Manhattan; Broadway, Times Square, Central Park and the shops of 5th Avenue.

325 square feet. This room has a king bed or queen bed depending on availability.
Double Deluxe
400 square feet. Two queen beds are in this room.
Studio King Suite
450 square feet. This suite has a king bed and a lounge area containing a sectional sofa.
