Wyndham Garden Hotel Chelsea
The Wyndham Garden has a pleasant location just a short walk from the tranquillity of the lovely Madison Square Park. The park is small but offers a refuge from the busy New York streets and is a favourite place for office workers to eat their packed lunch. From the park’s many benches there are excellent views of some of New York’s most notable buildings. Chief among these is the Empire State building, which is about a ten minute walk away, and the Flatiron Building, just a block from the hotel.
The Wyndham is a fairly new hotel, only opening its doors to the public in 2008. Its frontage is quite striking, consisting of blue metal Pergolas with a backdrop of coloured tiles. The hotel has free high speed internet throughout the building. One of the several amenities the Wyndham provides is a fully-equipped fitness centre with free access for all guests, 24 hours a day.
Dining
San Rocco
This is the hotel’s only restaurant, offering authentic Italian cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The three main meals are also available to be served in your room, between the hours of 7am to 10.30pm.
Standard Rooms
These rooms have comfortable, modern furnishings and either a king bed or two double beds. There are only eight rooms on each floor of the Wyndham, giving it a comfortable and intimate feel. The rooms are comfortably furnished with modern decor and furnishings and feature the following amenities:
